The Director General of Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu highlights need to intensify COVID19 testing in Nigeria.
Dr Ihekwazu made this known when he appeared on the breakfast show of Channels Television – Sunrise Daily on Thursday morning.
According to Ihekwazu, “No matter how intensive preventive measures are, there’s no way to assess states’ success or failure in managing COVID19 Nigeria without more testing to estimate disease burden”
Nigeria has tested 38,231 as at last night with 6677 confirmed cases
