Following the threat by the organised labour to commence a warning strike from tomorrow, the Federal Government is currently holding a meeting with the leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Trade Union Congress (TUC) and other stakeholders to see that the planned industrial action is suspended.

Recall that the NLC had issued a 14 day ultimatum to the Federal Government over the laters non-implemetation of the new minimum wage.

The planned nationwide 7-day warning strike expected to commence midnight Wednesday, Sept. 26.
