Another candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship, Jimi Agbaje, has withdrawn from the race.

Mr. Daniel, a former Ogun State governor, is the fourth candidate to quit after Bode George, Jimi Agbaje and Rashidi Ladoja all from the South west.

According to him, he stepped down to enhannce unity considering that there were too many candidates from the South West causing frictions

The tussle for PDP chairmanship seems to be between Uche Secondus and Professor Tunde Adeniran.
