The Osun state Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Primary Election holding at GMT Hotel and Event Centre in Osogbo, our correspondent gathered that voting has been reportedly suspended temporarily.
It was alleged that some unaccredited delegates are being allowed to vote but to whom they are voting for, it was not clear at the time of this report.
A sources that prefers anonymity had it that some delegates claimed that some former delegates who had left the PDP for the Social Democratic Party were brought in to vote in the exercise.
The state party chairmman, Mr Soji Adagunodo, wrote a letter to the National Headquarter of the party to effect the necessary changes in the delegates list but this was not done.
Some of the aggrieved party members were heard booing the chairman and calling him and other party leaders unprintable names.
The Chairman of the Electoral Panel, Seriake Dickson, in other to bring the situation under control, suspended the exercise temporarily in order to restore sanity and ensure that unaccredited persons do not vote in the exercise.
It was a great turnout of party members as the population of party members waiting patiently outside the venue is much more than those inside and at a point some persons were said to have made an attempt to force their way inside but security men dispersed them by firing teargas
